India has slightly more nuclear weapons than Pakistan, but China is well ahead of its regional neighbors. The Stockholm Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) provided the data.
According to the report, as of January 2024, India had 172 nuclear warheads, while Pakistan had 170. China increased its arsenal to 500 warheads in January 2024 from 410 warheads in January 2023, and it is expected to continue to grow.
