European Commission (EC) President Ursula von der Leyen will be extended for a second term by EU leaders at an informal meeting in Brussels on Monday evening. reports the Financial Times, citing a number of diplomats and officials.
"The EU leaders are planning to propose a second five-year term for Ursula von der Leyen as the president of the European Commission on Monday evening," the newspaper writes.
