The Group of Seven (G7) summit has begun to agree on a US proposal to provide a $50 billion loan to Ukraine, using frozen Russian assets as collateral. It will be a strong support for Kyiv.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will also be present and is expected to sign a separate bilateral security agreement with US President Joe Biden.
