Ukraine is unhappy with the pace of training F-16 pilots

Ukraine is dissatisfied with the pace of training pilots for the F-16s promised by the allies.

According to Politico's sources, Kyiv has repeatedly told the Joe Biden administration that it is ready to send 30 pilots to the US for F-16 training immediately. Politico interlocutors talk about Washington's willingness to train only 12 Ukrainian pilots at its base in Arizona by the end of September. According to the publication, training centers in Romania and Denmark also cannot accept as many Ukrainian pilots as Kyiv would like. Ukraine will receive more than 60 F-16 fighter jets from Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Norway by the end of summer 2024.
