US President Joe Biden arrived in France on Wednesday. The trip aims to emphasize his commitment to US allies in Europe.
Biden will spend five days in France and attend D-Day commemorations in Normandy, where US and allied troops stormed French beaches in the World War II offensive that helped defeat Nazi Germany, as well as deliver a speech and make an official state visit with President Emmanuel Macron.
