US State Department Press Secretary Matthew Miller called the statements of the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister that "the West wants to repeat the Maidan scenario in Georgia" as "Kremlin disinformation."
"My answer about the Kremlin's disinformation is probably quite applicable here as well. What you have seen in Georgia over the last few weeks is the expression of the will of the Georgian people and their disagreement with that law, which the government of Georgia passed with the support of the Kremlin. This has nothing to do with the USA; it has to do with the people of Georgia expressing their views," Miller said.
