Syria will review negotiations with Turkey after troop withdrawal

Syria cannot regulate relations with Turkey, which continues to occupy the northern regions of the country. As reported by the "SANA" agency, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Syria, Faisal Mikdad, announced this while speaking in Damascus during a joint press conference with his Iranian counterpart, Ali Bagheri Kani.

"The main condition of any dialogue with Ankara is the withdrawal of Turkish troops from the Syrian territory," he emphasized. "We want to have clear Turkish commitments to withdraw from our occupied lands and stop supporting terrorist organizations," he said.
