"We welcome the steps towards the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan". Erdogan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke about the Armenian-Azerbaijani peace negotiations in his address at the opening ceremony of the 29th Caspian Oil & Gas International Exhibition and the 12th Caspian and Green Energy International Exhibition.

"We are working with Azerbaijan in the direction of diversification of energy sources and will soon complete the construction of the gas pipeline to Nakhichevan. We welcome the steps towards the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the peace agreement, which is expected to be signed. We consider it as a historical opportunity," Erdogan said.
