Bagheri stresses the importance of implementing the statements made by the leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, during the meeting with the Prime Minister of Armenia, which mainly focused on implementing strategic goals between the two countries. Emphasizing that endogenous security is Iran's regional security doctrine, Bagheri stated that Iran is committed to effectively maintaining security and stability in the Caucasus.
Bagheri also reaffirmed Iran's readiness to implement the agreements reached during the tenure of the martyred president and foreign minister. He expressed his condolences to the flood victims in Armenia and offered Iran's assistance to them. Mirzoyan, for his part, highlighted Iran's role in strengthening peace in the South Caucasus region. He also expressed satisfaction with Iran's cooperation in implementing Armenia's infrastructure projects, including the Agarak-Kajaran road.
