The parliamentary committee on legal issues has approved the removal of the veto of the law "on transparency of foreign influence." The decision was made by the committee minutes ago. Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili vetoed the law on May 18.
Salome Zurabishvili added only one article to it, according to which the law will be in force only one day after it enters into force and will expire on the second day. The Parliament will discuss the president's veto in the plenary session. On May 14, the Parliament adopted the "On Transparency of Foreign Influence" bill in the third reading.
