French President Emmanuel Macron stated that the EU is not at war with Russia but wants peace.
"We are not at war with Russia and the Russian people; we want peace, a peace that Ukraine will choose on its terms," Macron said.
The French president once again noted that the future and security of the EU are at risk in the conflict in Ukraine. At the same time, Macron admitted that the European Union will not change its geography.
In this regard, the EU should take care of the concept of common security, which it previously delegated to its allies. We need to take care of our security, understand where the threat is coming from, build a new concept of common security, decide what opportunities we have and what joint programs are needed," the head of France believes.
