Foreign Ministers of Germany and Azerbaijan, Annalena Baerbock and Jeyhun Bayramov, had a telephone conversation.
The ministers discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations between Azerbaijani and Germany.
The heads of the departments also discussed the situation in the region and the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Bayramov informed Baerbock in detail about the negotiations with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, in Almaty on May 10 and 11.
The importance of the agreements reached between Baku and Yerevan and the recent confidence-building measures was emphasized.
