The European Union (EU) has approved using proceeds from the Russian Central Bank's frozen assets to help Ukraine. Thanks to that, Kyiv will receive only 3 billion euros in 2024. 90% of that amount will go to support the Ukrainian armed forces, announced the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Jan Lipavsky. Russian assets are expected to bring about 5 billion euros in annual profit, and Ukraine will receive aid twice a year.
