"On the occasion of the European Championship, the government of Georgia will subsidize charter flights to Germany," Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze announced at today's session of the government of Georgia. "As you know, we talked about subsidizing air tickets related to the flights scheduled to participate in the European Championship in Germany. On July 18, 22, and 26, the matches of the Georgian national team will take place in the corresponding subgroup. As many Georgian fans as possible must participate in those matches.
That's why it's essential to make travel easier and cheaper. Accordingly, we have already taken measures and are subsidizing charter and regular flights," said Kobakhidze.
