Accordingly, President Ebrahim Raisi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amir Abdollahian, Governor Malik Rahmati, Imam Malik Rahmati, and 5 other people (including the crew) were killed in the accident yesterday.
The first deputy, Mohammad Mokhber, temporarily exercises the powers of the President of Iran.
It was reported earlier that the helicopter carrying the Iranian president, Raisi, had a hard landing near the border with Azerbaijan in Julfa. According to the IRNA agency, the reason was bad weather conditions.
