Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his condolences to the Iranian people and the family of the slain President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, and noted his contribution to strengthening India-Iran relations.
"I am deeply saddened and shocked by the tragic death of President Ebrahim Raisi. His contribution to strengthening bilateral relations between India and Iran will always be remembered," Modi wrote in X.
