The search and rescue operations of the helicopter of the President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, are ongoing.
Iran's Minister of Internal Affairs, Ahmad Vahidi, said contact with the companions was established but later interrupted.
At least 40 rescue teams were involved in the search. The Iranian government delegation, headed by the vice president, went to the scene of the incident.
