China and Russia defend the world order based on international law. Chinese President Xi Jinping announced this during a joint press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Beijing.
"China and Russia firmly uphold the international system centered on the United Nations, the world order based on international law, and closely coordinate positions in multilateral platforms such as the United Nations, APEC and the G20," the Chinese leader said.
