The Minister of Defense of Australia, Richard Marles, announced that by 2034, Australia will increase spending on weapons production and military capabilities to 2.3% of GDP.
There are plans to increase funding to the Ministry of Defense by more than 50 billion Australian dollars ($33.2 billion) by 2034.
