"Yerevan requested the withdrawal of temporary groups of Russian border guards." Bortnikov

Alexander Bortnikov, director of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (ФСБ), announced that Yerevan requested the withdrawal of the temporary operative groups of the Russian border guards.
"Yerevan applied for the withdrawal of the temporary operative groups of the Russian border guards, and such a decision was made.
Russian border guards remain in Armenia and will guard Armenia's border with Turkey and Iran. Shortly, we will close the border checkpoint at the Zvartnots airport in Yerevan," said Bortnikov.
