The Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey, Abdulkadir Uraloglu, announced that after the completion of the Kars-Igdir-Delugu railway line project, an opportunity will be created in their country to transport cargo on the Baku-Turkey-Europe route.
"In addition, the Zangezur Corridor will become the third alternative after the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway and the road project passing through the territory of Iran.
In addition to increasing the annual tonnage of transportation, it will also have a positive economic impact on Armenia. Transforming the region into a trade and energy hub will contribute to the stability and prosperity of neighboring countries. For these reasons, we believe that Armenia will support the project," he said.
