Israel does not recognize Palestine's readiness to be an independent state and considers relevant discussions premature. Simona Halperin, Israel's ambassador to Russia, stated this in an interview with TASS.
"If someone says their only goal is to destroy Israel and its citizens and then actually tries to do it, we have to take it seriously. So we can talk about the future of Palestine when our neighbors are ready to live together. And here I return to the problems of education and upbringing," the diplomat noted.
