The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has appointed the former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, as the Ambassador of Ukraine to Great Britain.
This is stated in the May 9 decree of the head of state.
It should be noted that Zaluzhni resigned on February 8, and on February 9 he was awarded the title of hero. According to the president, the general himself requested such a mission for himself.
