China Central Television reported that Chinese President Xi Jinping and French President Emmanuel Macron advocated a peaceful settlement of Iran's nuclear issue through diplomatic and political means.
The TV channel cites the joint statement of the two countries' leaders, released after Xi's visit, as saying, "China and France confirm that they will make efforts to contribute to the political and diplomatic settlement of the Iranian nuclear issue."
