Palestinian civilians, who were ordered by the Israeli military to evacuate from eastern Rafah, have been leaving the city since yesterday. At the same time, the Israeli army struck the southern city of Gaza.
On Monday, the Israeli military called on the estimated 100,000 Palestinians living in parts of eastern Rafah to "evacuate immediately" to al-Mawasi, the nearest town to Khan Yunis, as a safer place.
