The law on "foreign agents" will be discussed in the Parliament of Georgia on May 13

The Chairman of the Legal Affairs Committee of the Parliament of Georgia, Anri Okhanashvili, said that the Legal Affairs Committee will discuss the law on foreign agents ("On Transparency of Foreign Influence") on May 13.

"On Friday, May 10, we continue to work on legislative changes that result from the 9 points set by the European Commission for our country's accession to the European Union. Therefore, in the second reading of the committee session, only the legislative amendments made by Article 9 of the EU will be discussed. The bill on transparency will be discussed on Monday, May 13," Okhanashvili wrote on his Facebook page.
