"An opportunity has been created to end hostilities once and for all." Amirbekov

Elchin Amirbekov, a special representative of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, also referred to Armenian-Azerbaijani relations in an interview with the Brazilian newspaper Correio Braziliense.

"I think the next steps are clear because now we are negotiating the text of the peace agreement, which was developed by Azerbaijan and presented to Armenia a year and a half ago. Important work has already been done on this text, but some issues still need to be resolved. We believe that in the coming months, we will do everything to complete this work because we believe that this agreement will create an important context for the peaceful coexistence of the two countries in the coming years and decades. There is a great opportunity to end hostilities once and for all," Amirbekov noted.
