The head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, stated that he does not foresee an early end to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and noted that Europe should continue to provide military aid to Kyiv, even though it "costs" the Europeans.
"Since we have promised to support Ukraine, we must continue to support it until Putin decides to stop the war, unfortunately, this will not happen soon," Borel said.
In his opinion, the armed conflict can continue at least until the US presidential elections.
"At the same time, we should continue to support the people of Ukraine, Europeans will not die for Donbass, but we can help Ukrainians not to sacrifice for Donbass in the future," he added.
