Cash transactions over 10,000 euros have been banned in the EU

As part of anti-money laundering measures, the European Parliament voted to ban cash payments of more than €10,000.

In addition to banning large cash transactions, the new regulations require sellers of luxury goods to verify the identities of their customers and report suspicious transactions to authorities. The tightening of rules will affect the sale of jewelry, luxury cars, private jets, and yachts, among other things.
