Israel struck Iran in response to the April 13 attack. The target of the Israeli strike was the Isfahan Air Force base. Fox News reports.
Iranian authorities have announced that they have shot down several drones and denied reports of a missile attack by Israel on the country. Radar Armenia learned about this from the BBC agency.
Earlier, the Iranian mass media reported about the explosions in the city of Spahan in the central part of Iran and the work of air defense in different regions.
"The country's air defense successfully shot down several unmanned aerial vehicles; there is no information about the missile attack yet," Hossein Dalirian, the representative of the Iranian Space Agency, wrote on the X microblog.
Earlier, CBS News and ABC News TV channels, citing American officials, reported that Israel launched missiles in the direction of Iran. The White House and the Pentagon did not comment on it.
It should be noted that the Israeli authorities warned that they could retaliate after Iran fired hundreds of rockets and drones at Israeli cities last weekend. Almost all of them were shot.
