"The EU unanimously supports the tightening of sanctions against Russia." Macron

French President Emmanuel Macron said that European Union countries are unanimously in favor of tightening sanctions against Russia.
"We agree on strengthening sanctions against Russia and intensifying the fight against evasion of these sanctions," Macron said at the press conference held after the EU summit in Brussels. The event was broadcast on the official website of the Elysée Palace.
Macron noted that military support for Ukraine, including the supply of ammunition and the joint production of weapons on Ukrainian territory, remains the priority of the European Union.
