60% of South Korea's oil is supplied through the Strait of Hormuz

South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, amid tensions in the Middle East and considering his country's need for energy resources, has announced that 60% of the country's oil comes through the Strait of Hormuz.

Yoon stressed at the start of the cabinet meeting that tensions in the Middle East directly impact global oil prices and, in turn, significantly affect South Korea's economy and supply chain.
