Scholz called on China not to support Russia with weapons

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced that he intends to discuss the conflict in Ukraine during a meeting with the Chinese leadership on April 16. The head of the German government will hold talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Chinese Premier Li Qiang in Beijing on Tuesday.

The chancellor insisted that the conflict in Ukraine "is not only a European problem".
