German Chancellor Olaf Scholz arrived in China on a three-day visit. A meeting with Xi Jinping is planned.
They will discuss Sino-German relations and issues of common interest.
During the visit, Scholz is also accompanied by a business delegation consisting of heads of a number of international corporations, such as Siemens, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
