The Russian Federal Customs Service announced that Finland will close sea crossings on the border with Russia on April 15.
Vessel traffic through Nuyamaa to the Saimen Canal and Haapasaari and Santio sea crossings will be suspended.
The Finnish authorities plan to prevent illegal migration by sea.
