US President Joe Biden interrupted his day off and returned to the White House to hold a meeting with his security team due to the situation in the Middle East, reports the White House press service.
According to a previously published schedule, Biden left for his Rehoboth Beach residence in Delaware on Friday evening. He was supposed to stay there until Sunday.
Biden's unplanned return to the capital, according to American sources, is due to Iran's threat to attack Israel. It was mentioned earlier that the US is moving new forces to the Middle East to prepare for a possible Iranian attack on Israel.
