Jordan temporarily closes airspace

The Jordanian Petra agency reports that the Jordanian authorities have temporarily closed the country's airspace.

"The Jordanian Civil Aviation Authority has decided to temporarily and as a precautionary measure close Jordanian airspace to all arrivals, departures, and transit flights starting Saturday at 11:00 p.m. local time," the agency said in a statement.

It is noted that the airspace will be closed for several hours; there will be updates depending on the developments. The mass media report that all this is connected with a possible attack by Iran.
