Official Ankara did not transfer and did not force Moscow and Kyiv to any settlement project in Ukraine, the source of the Turkish President's office told RIA Novosti.
"We have not suggested or imposed any projects." The Turkish side offers mediation to resolve the conflict affecting the entire region. We rely on both parties' mutual respect and trust," said the agency's interlocutor.
Several mass media outlets reported that Turkey allegedly offered Russia and Ukraine a draft peace treaty based on the Istanbul 2022 agreement. The draft, in particular, envisages a freeze on the conflict along the existing war front, commitments to hold referendums in Ukraine in 2040, and guarantees of Ukraine's non-aligned status until 2040.
