The press conference of the President of the EU Commission Ursula von der Leyen, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, President of the EU Foreign Affairs Commission Josep Borrell, and RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan started in Brussels.
US Secretary of State Blinken said: "Mr. Prime Minister, thank you for your leadership and partnership. It creates a good foundation for our current and future activities. We are here to reaffirm transatlantic support for a democratic and prosperous future for Armenia and its people and a more integrated and peaceful South Caucasus region. We share the vision of the future of the Armenian people; we want Armenia to find its place as a strong and peace-loving regional country. The US and the EU want to be partners in this effort, and today is proof of that. We plan to allocate 65 million euros from our budget to support Armenia's reforms and increase its economic and democratic resilience. We will continue to support the 100,000 Armenians displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh."
