Lithuania's Defense Ministry plans to allocate 2 million euros ($2.17 million) to purchase about 3,000 drones for Ukraine. Lithuanian Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė announced this during a press conference with her Ukrainian counterpart, Denys Shmyhal. Lithuania allocated 35 million euros to the Czech initiative to buy missiles for Ukraine.
"We have also agreed that Lithuania will soon buy about 3,000 Lithuanian drones through the Ministry of Defense for about 2 million euros, which will reach the front, hopefully this year," he added.
