The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, called the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union.
During the conversation, the issue of the tripartite meeting of the US-EU-RA scheduled for April 5 in Brussels was also raised. Aliyev expressed the position of the Azerbaijani side regarding this meeting and noted the importance of regional inclusiveness.
