Blinken and Macron discussed the situation in Ukraine and the Middle East

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken met with French President Emmanuel Macron during his visit to Paris and discussed the conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East, as stated in the statement of Matthew Miller, the head of the State Department's press service.

"Secretary Blinken and President Macron reaffirmed strong support for Ukraine's struggle for freedom," Miller said. "They also agreed on the importance of preventing the spread of the conflict in the Gaza Strip, including by preventing an escalation in Lebanon."
