Israeli officials agreed Monday to take into account U.S. concerns about the planned attack in Rafah. A joint statement was issued after a virtual meeting with U.S. officials on alternative ways to destroy Hamas militants in southern Gaza.
"The meeting led by high-ranking U.S. and Israeli officials ended with the adoption of a plan for further personal negotiations next week," the statement said.
