"Armenia is the only country that tries to avoid conflict." Minister of Foreign Affairs of France

During the press conference held after the meeting with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, French Foreign Minister Stephane Sejourne stated that they discussed Armenia's territorial integrity, which is now under threat from Azerbaijan.
"We are concerned about this, considering Baku's rhetoric is increasing. We see fake news that often blames Armenia for the escalation, even though Armenia is probably the only country that wants and tries to avoid conflict. If we look carefully, we will find many common elements and similarities between what is happening in Russia and Ukraine. Let's pay attention to all these six months before COP29," he said.
