The US has nothing to do with Israel's attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria, said John Kirby, the strategic communications coordinator of the White House National Security Council.
"The US has nothing to do with the strike," Kirby said at the briefing.
When asked if Washington expects Tehran to take retaliatory measures for the attack on the consulate, Kirby said that he does not undertake to predict Iran's actions.
