Biden's security adviser will visit Saudi Arabia

White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan plans to visit Saudi Arabia this week to meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The visit is part of a U.S. push to stabilize relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia.

Sullivan planned to talk with the Crown Prince to clarify the situation but did not expect significant progress. The USA is working towards normalizing relations. U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced on March 21 that the United States and Saudi Arabia have made "good progress" in negotiations to normalize relations between the Kingdom and Israel without specifying the dates for the conclusion of the deal.
