Netanyahu creates problems for the prisoner deal. Hamas

An unnamed Hamas leader told Al Jazeera that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was trying to buy time and absorb the anger of the families of the hostages in Gaza. Still, he was creating obstacles to an agreement.

The unnamed Hamas leader added that the Israeli delegation did not have the authority to reach an agreement. He emphasized the position of Hamas on the need to stop the Israeli "aggression" and to withdraw the "occupation forces," including the return of displaced people to Gaza and the activation of rehabilitation and aid.
