According to him, Turkey will seek the creation of an independent Palestinian state along the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

"We will not stop until the Palestinians find freedom, return the occupied lands, and create an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital. Ankara is making intensive efforts to increase international pressure on Israel to implement the UN Security Council resolution on an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip," Erdogan said.
