Yaqub Abdullayev, the official representative of the Azerbaijan Sambo Federation, reported that the Azerbaijani national team will not participate in the Sambo World Cup in Yerevan.
"Everyone knows how our athletes were treated in the previous competitions in Armenia. This has a negative effect on their motivation and also heightens safety concerns. That is why our federation has decided not to participate in the World Cup in Yerevan," he said.
