The London court ruled in favor of Assange

The London High Court ruled in favor of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. He will have the opportunity to continue challenging the extradition decision to the US in the British courts.

"Mr. Assange has a real chance of success on three of the nine grounds of appeal," the court's decision said.

Australian journalist Assange became famous in 2006 thanks to the website WikiLeaks, which he founded to publish classified documents. In 2010, the resource published a secret video of the American military, in which it was possible to see how, in 2007, after an American helicopter attack in Baghdad, at least 18 civilians were killed. In 2010, the website also started publishing 250,000 secret diplomatic correspondences and circulation documents.
